Knock sensors generally do not pick up PI events, if anything the PCM will see them as misfires. PCM may retard timing if misfire codes are triggered, that much I don't know.

The Focus with the 2 litre diesel (150ps) with manual gearbox has a top speed of 130 mph. Estate the same. The Focus st with the 185ps diesel engine has a top speed of 135 mph (both estate and hatch)) so apparently 30ps equals a 5 mph.
